Glycated Hemoglobin
The EP is divided into 4 different programs according to the analytical systems and methodologies used:
Glycated Hemoglobin I: All except those listed for Glycated Hemoglobin II, III and IV.
Glycated Hemoglobin II: Chromatography – Borate Affinity (Nycocard), Immunochromatography (Lumiratek) and Fluorescence Immunoassay (Eco Diagnóstica).
Glycated Hemoglobin III: Electrophoresis.
Glycated Hemoglobin IV: Fluorescence Immunoassay (AFIAS and ICHROMA)

Proficiency Testing
- Glycated Hemoglobin I: Lyophilized Whole Blood of 500 µL
- Glycated Hemoglobin II: Liquid Whole Blood of 250 µL.
- Glycated Hemoglobin III: Lyophilized Whole Blood of 1.0 mL
- Glycated Hemoglobin IV: Lyophilized whole blood of 100 µL.
- Quantitative.

Internal Control
- Glycated Hemoglobin I: Lyophilized Whole Blood of 500 µL
- Glycated Hemoglobin II: Liquid Whole Blood of 250 µL
- Glycated Hemoglobin III: Lyophilized Whole Blood of 1.0 mL
- Glycated Hemoglobin IV: Lyophilized whole blood of 100 µL.
- Glycated Hemoglobin I and III: Up to 2 years shelf life at < 0⁰C.
- Glycated Hemoglobin IV: Up to 3 years shelf life at < 0⁰C.
- Glycated Hemoglobin II: Up to 3 months shelf life at 2⁰C and 8⁰C.
- Quantitative.
