In an exclusive interview, Santiago Fares-Taie – the biochemist who coordinates the Task Force Young Scientists – explained the group’s role in the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and addressed other issues relevant to the laboratory public
Keeping the purpose of promoting knowledge and updating professionals in the field of clinical analysis and laboratory medicine, Dr. José Antonio Tesser Poloni, educational manager at Controllab, interviewed biochemist Santiago Fares-Taie for Talking About Event, Controllab’s environment for conversations about the main topics involving laboratory events.
The Biochemist detailed the responsibility of the IFCC Task Force Young Scientists, which brings together groups of young scientists to contribute to IFCC activities and promote laboratory medicine across continents.
In addition, he highlighted the importance of the Global Med Lab Week program, an initiative that aims to recognize and celebrate the vital impact of the laboratory and the critical role of clinical laboratory professionals in healthcare and patient care around the world.
And, finally, he revealed his expectations for WorldLab – EuromedLab, to be held in Rome, from May 21 to 25, 2023, in which Controllab will participate with three accepted scientific abstracts.
