Microbiological laboratories may signal interest in the pilot round to assess the accuracy of the techniques and inputs applied in the tests for the water matrix
To guarantee the absence of risk of contamination by disease-causing microorganisms, several microbiological controls are carried out in the water, including the Research by Giardia spp. and Legionella sp.
Controllab has an extensive scope of Proficiency Testing (PT) for microbiological analysis of water. In July, this scope will be expanded with the inclusion of new PTs by Giardia and Legionella.
The pilot round of the new PTs is composed of two items and the evaluation is made available by an individual report and a public profile of the results (without identifying the participants) for those registered. For Legionella, research and counting will be considered.
Those interested in participating in the pilot round, which will be sent free of charge on July 26, can sign up for participation on this link until the end of June.
All tests offered by Controllab follow the criteria of ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17043. By participating in the PT, the laboratory will be able to evidence the accuracy of the analyzes and the reliability of the results issued in its routine.
The table below shows the PTs of microbiological analyzes for water already available. To find out more, access the Controllab website, contact us through the email service@controllab.com or by phone +55 (21) 3891 9900 and WhatsApp (21) 98036-1592.
